Wimpy Christianity.

Are you simply following the rules of Christianity because you have to or you want to? The biggest problem most of us have nowadays is losing followers on tumblr because of a “God post” or getting made fun of at school for “prayer here” signs. Most of us never have experienced that real danger the way people from back then have or from other countries do today. If you were put in that situation, the situation between living but shutting up about your faith or exclaiming your faith for all to hear and willing to die for Him as Jesus has for us? As Andrew was crucified for preaching the gospel, he knew that to preach about the glory of the cross of Jesus, he must be willing to die upon it as well. Can we honestly say that today knowing our circumstances living in a country like this? I know myself I have a lot of problems I have to work on. I don’t want to be another hypocrite Christian. I even find it hard to read the Bible while people else where find it hard to read the Bible without getting shot, yet do it anyway. Do we really ever see that kind of sacrifice or commitment this day and age? It starts with each and every one of us.

Christians, as one body of Christ, let us be in unity as we fearlessly and powerfully share God’s word and God’s love.
